At first people may think "what the rigged election are you talking about?"
Dave's bahaviour reminds me of the Arnold Rimmer song

"Pansy" is a derogotary term for Gay men in england.

I'm sure Dave already knew that when he called me one on the last page. Derogotary terms like that are probably what he and flipper had in common. As I remember, flipper was fond of the word faggot.
Why point this out ferret? It doesn't help your friends.

I know that, but (a) Seargeant Flipper used it first, to attack Wraith (see the Saddam,It's Bush thread) and
b) I referred specifically, to the *flower*.

Yes, indeed - have you ever seen bluebells? On't other hand, lavender is a bit boring..

It's the colour gradient you get toward the middle. A good pansy fades all the way to black in the middle.

look folks I dont know the context... you drove me out of the Bush/Saddam thread remember.
Now you are here with your flame war, so I am off again.
BTW If you take the time to look at the backlog of my posts on the Bush/Saddam thread you might actually realise where *i* stand on the war.

OH dear.
Its like trying to teach turtles how to scratch their own backs.
In short Ferret and Dave you are waisting your time try as you might you can not surmount the problems that Wraith and Della have.
How Wraith, who cant tell the difference between passing aggression on and projecting, a man who considers advice about threats and violence as psychobable, can recomemnd himself as an anger management coach is beyond me. Although he has seen and made the mistake of losing ones temper he has made no ground in learning from those mistakes, a basic prerequisite for any type of coach.
Furthermore he shows no empathy for anyone else who may be harmed by what he does and those who make the same mistakes he makes, as such he would make a very poor mentor.
Like wise when Della spoke about her abadoned training to become a cousellor I was very happy. Her lack of empathy for others emotional state and willingness to project her emotions onto the communications of others and judgemental nature makes her a bad candidate for any conselling post.
Obviously a lot of the psychological damage they exhibit may well be due to the violent circumstances that Della has alluded to (if we can indeed believe anything she says) in her previous realationships.
I was always taught it was wrong to mock the afflicted, maybe we should leave them alone.

"I can't agree more."
And that says it all, Dave. You do tend to agree blindly and unthinkingly with people, without the need to actually understand what they're saying. How long before you offer to buy him a beer?

Good idea ES (that's a new phrase for you to hear..maybe I should repeat it) Good idea ES.
Hey blickybadger...you're allright. If we ever meet in RL, I'd like to buy you a beer.
I've lost track of the times that I've heard ES,Della/Adele, or Wraith/Apparition say "absolutely correct, good point, I agree completely" with ANY anti-US statement. So, I have to give credit where credit is due - I definetely picked that one up from you.

The difference is that we understand what we're agreeing to.
It's a subtle difference but an important one.

Hmmm. You, ES, I'll say may understand; but certainly not Della/Adele and Wraith/Apparition.

I'll let Wraith and Della answer that. But I have faith in their cognitive abilities.

Ever come across the phrase flogging a dead
Empty has latched on to the well publicised facts about the US invasion of Iraq and is regurgitating those soundbites over and over again to troll US researchers. In a rather sad and pathetic irony of his angst about the paucity of US intelletualism his understanding does not stretch far enough to stop him trolling;
a) US researchers who agree with his views
b) people who arent from the US and agree with him
c) these same people about the "illegal US invasion of Afghanistan" which was infact a UN legally sanctioned coalition mission
So to paraphrase the popular tabloid dictum. Never let the facts get in the way of a good troll.

For goodness sake, Blicky. Perhaps it's the ubiquity of my postings that bothers you, but I'm not a troll. My opinions have always been thoroughly consistent.
I did make an error in saying that the invasion of Afhghanistan was illegal, (Not even an intentional misleading statement) I said it once and I apologised when corrected for it.
You have got things wrong several times, been corrected and apoligised. What's the difference.
The difference is I never considered it appropriate to mention it again.
So which one of us is trolling?

OK evens on c) then, but what about a) and b)?
While Im here lets take a look at this one of your three or four repeated posts.
I've also said (and I still believe this) that they are perhaps the most hypocritical of all. Because this enelected president URGENTLY NEEDS to be impeached and face criminal charges. Yet these supposed non-supporters of Dubya do him a great favour by refusing to admit there's anything wrong that this year's election wont fix.
Way to go Empty calling those who plan to vote Democrat hypocrites, apart from making you look silly which you dont need to do *anymore* seriously we have all worked that one out. Wha is the point of that
There is very little that the researchers can actually do about Bush he and his party hold the whip hand, the fact that there *is* an impeachment site for you to link to over and over shows some of 'em are doing something. The opnion polls show that some of them intend to vote him out. The protestors on the streets show some of them are even more moved. What do you wnat an armed insurrection, *more* blood?
Or do you want all the US researchers on site to buff up your ego and offer to buy you beers for being the voice in the wilderness crying out the truth?
one love
