what part of teach do you do? eg sound woowowowowow, lighting, wowowowo, back stage not so wowowowowowow? SM? ASM?

i'm not telling you where i work or who for because i'm short with long straight hair and you'll laugh at me.

(i know you will!)

i'm DSM but we are always short handed (especailly in winter)

so i end up doing something like spotlights as well (very tricky to do because you have to basically learn all the cues, you cant stop and look at the script or you'll lose track of who you're spotting!)

eek, or i get to do the lighting board (aka the frog board to us, it has a frog on it!)

sometimes i do mikes (but i hate that beacuse people always forget to turn their radio mikes on/of when they go off etc etc...)



you looking at a career in theatre then me takes it?

why hello i agree with everything......the spot lights get so dam hot to we have a frog lighting desk 2!!!!! (school) it really good i have done about 3 lighting proformances 4 sound (aka miks) and 2 spot lights (aka. getting confused with cues and burning hands)
i am looking 4 a kinda career, i would really like 2 do some thing like that in a big theater (so dam hyper)

well the person i asked to save the forg board show onto a disk didnt, and then one of the dancers UNPLUGGED IT SO SHE COULD CHARGE HER PHONE! god........ luckily i had it all written on my copy of the script but jesus......... how think is she? there are plugs all over the place! why use one in the technical booth! she shouldnt have her phone on in the theatre anyway!
