h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hey Becky, just thought I'd drop by to let you know I like your newly personalised page. Incidentally, I tought it odd your favourite season is s.5, you favourite character is Dawn, yet you don't list Blood Ties as one of your favourite eoisodes - especially since I think it so great(it is one of my favourites).

Also, haven't seen Scarface, but Goodfellas is great. Have you seen Narc? - that's another great performance from your hubbie.

Yeah that's a good point about Blood Ties. It is a really good episode. I would've included it but I guess I just forgot cos I was just trying to think of anything to write.

I haven't seen Narc yet. I've been a bit broke so far this year. There's still loads of movies I have left to get and I've only got enough to get one, so I suppose I'll look through them all again and decide what I want the most.
Should I get Narc?

Narc is very good, if not one of my all-time favourites, so I would recommend catching it when you can.

But personally, I never buy a film I haven't alreeady seen and so know I like it. What can I say, guess I'm just not a risk-taker.

I think I'm gonna get it. I usually only get movies if I've never seen them before, unless it's one of my favourite actor's movies, then I'll go to the cinema and see it loads and then get it on dvd anyway.

What's your favourite scene in it? Please tell me, I love spoilers!

It's hard to say, really, I saw it once, a while ago now, but the early parts were the best in my opinion. The ending felt a little contrived to me.

Incidentally, another film gyda Ray Liotta that is very good indeed is Copland - he doesn't have a massive part but it is significant. And it is an outstanding film - the only time I've ever praised a Sylvester Stallone performance.

I love that movie! When I first saw it I thought that Ray's character was gonna kill Sly's character but in the end he saved his life!

I also really loved the scene when a bunch of the cops try to kill the guy's nephew. I kind of sensed they were about to do something to him. They were suspicious looking.

I went deaf in my left ear yesterday cos I'm getting the flu. It really sucks watching soaps and only being able to hear half as well!

Wow, that does kinda suck, Becky, hope you get better soon.

But personally, I'd probably treasure not having to hear as much of the soaps, but hey, that's just me.

Yeah, I'm also kind of unhappy cos they're getting rid of the Eastenders message boards on the eastenders website. So I'll have to find another source for all the spoilers!
