I'm struggling with the remnents of a migraine atm. Came on at close of play yesterday. Knocked me for six.

Had a work colleague round last night for tea and sympathy. Her mum has breast cancer and my friend is shot to pieces about it.

*sigh* Yes, the world really is a rubbish place sometimes.

Do you have any migraine pills or anything?

Nothing touches them, so I just put up and shut up. Make do with them. I used to have them all the time when I was 15, so the doctor put me on the contraceptive pill and they stopped.

Been coming back with a bit more regularity over the past year or so, so I have a feeling it's hormonal again.

The world's always been like this - it's not worth getting all worked up about it now...

With migraines, I find a quiet dark room is about the only thing. Oh, and some massive codeine/paracetemol things. They're a pretty yellow colour.

I have 30/500 codiene tablets and paracetamol mix, but they don't touch it...just make me feel high

I find that to be not entirely unpleasant.

Right now, I'll settle for plain old aspirin. Feeling a bit fragile today, after my ex's birthday drinkies last night... *hic*

*offers a head massage*

Actually, a shoulder massage would be really good right now...

*sits in waiting position, with incredibly tense shoulders*

*begins to gently kneed shoulders*

Aaaahhhhh..... You're good at this....

*gets the heal of her palm and gently rotates it over your shoulders*

*shoulders turn to rubber* That is so nice...

Good....my hands are sore now *rubs hands and winces*

*speaks from hyper-relaxed slumped position* Thanks, that was really good. That was about five years' worth of tension that needed shifting... *mutters some sort of new-age rubbish*
