Right. I have my cough mixture now. Apparently I do have a chest infection (yes, I had to cough up some goo). They said to give it a couple of days and if it doesn't get any better, go see the doctor.
Last time it got onto my chest, I was very poorly indeed. Ended up on strong anti-biotics, an inhaler and a peak flow monitor. My peak flow was only 360 instead of 487. Doctor was very concerned...so concerned in fact that she said if it fell below 280, I could walk into any doctors and explain my peak flow and I would get oxygen therapy there and then. Didn't need to do that though, thank god.

Here's hoping you don't have to do that this time either.
My last chesty cough-thing saw me end up at the hospital. I don't wish that on you either.

I'm on az's photo site. Page 9, I think. It's not especially recent, but it's close enough to reality.

I don't look anything like that now though. I have just short of shoulder length hair and I've put on a few pounds since then too

Right, I'll feel free to imagine the revised version.

Glad to hear it.
I'll soon be plotting my own temporary escape. Only a week, mind, but it'll be in Melbourne. Goodness, the shops...
