Books?, music?,crackers?..............
mmm weather, I am praying for isolated showers, not enough to shut the mill an delay the end of crush, I have been so depressed an stressed, I just want it to end.............
we could always talk about dust, and how it multiplies.........
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 2, 2004
Crackers? That takes us straight back to US politics.
Dust? Yes, it does multiply. I wonder where it all comes from. More to the point, how is it that there's so much of it in the bedroom all the time, even though that room gets cleaned and aired more often than the rest of the house... *shrug* I wonder why I bother. If I leave the dust long enough I'll be able to roll it up like a bolt of felt...
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Nov 2, 2004
I have been told that after 2 years, it doesn't get any thicker, maybe it sufficates itself
I just noticed how thick it has become here, I got out an old toohbrush the other night an started to clean some of my dragons the dust was so thick I was looking through a haze an today it looks like I never cleaned it at all
I shall become sadie in a couple of weeks time
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 2, 2004
I'm trying to call up a mental picture of Sadie, but all I'm getting is an image of some chain-smoking harridan from Coronation Street, wearing a pinny and an unpleasant headscarf. I'll try again later - must be a crossed line.

picture instead loud casey chambers, or jethro tull
I usually wear a t shirt an boxers, an dance around singing, I am such a rockstar an don't forget the socks, so I can slide around the kitchen........
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 2, 2004
That mental picture is a lot better. I especially like the sock detail. That's one way to get the floors nice and shiny clean.
Music does help - I find very loud Kate Bush or Joy Division makes it easier to clean the kitchen, and the Dandy Warhols are a good accompaniment to dusting.

I'd better pack it in for the night. A *serious* w*rkday looms... See you tomorow.
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 3, 2004
W*rk. A lot of things went wrong today, and in the worst possible order. We even have issues with the data cables connecting us to the network. I wish the week was over.
The election in that pseudo-democracy across the Pacific is also depressing me unutterably.
How are you?
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Nov 3, 2004
good timing again, just come on line
?
I have had another lazy day, went into town, ended up buying a cool pair of pastal pink stretch denim jeans and a nice matching shirt, thank the stars for my rockmans card, they were both half price too, pottered about the house a bit, napped, did some training with the dogs,oh, an went to the library
I soooooo don't want to go to w**k on friday, still one more day of freedom
you poor thing, it only seems to take one thing for everything to cascade out of control
I am not even thinking about the US elections, I'm not, I'm not (hands over ears) mamamamamamama I can't hear you...............well if I tell myself enough to stop thinking about it, I may even stop

Tomorrow's going to be dreadfully hectic as we put all sorts of contingency plans together. I might have to have an early night to get ready for it. *sigh* Still, I'm a day closer to retirement at least. Only about 30 years to go.
I think I'll have a shortly - just as soon as I decide what to eat. I'm cooking by Yellow Pages tonight - I can't be bothered with the kitchen, or any of the food I have in the house.
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Nov 3, 2004

I think it'll be Indian, now that you've mentioned curry. I shall shortly go offline for a few minutes while I deal with it. (I must get broadband one of these days.)
I wish we were having another thunderstorm. I did enjoy yesterday's effort.
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Nov 3, 2004

I ordered far too much food - it'll do for tomorrow as well. There will be a vindaloo, and a lamb-&-spinach thing, and garlic naan, and rice, and little chicken doovers as well. Now I just have to wait for it.
I've also hit the . I expect I'll feel quite good, quite soon.

Sharwood's pastes are good; so are Patak's, but for some reason I usually end up with Sharwood's. There's also a specialist Indian shop a few suburbs away; I must raid it next time I have the leisure. Last time I looked, I was a bit put off by various packets of stuff with the brand name 'Gits'. Come to think of it, that might be good present for someone I don't like much.
I've now downed half a glass of and I'm starting to feel a bit floppy and boneless. I wish the food would hurry up...
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Nov 3, 2004
just remember to ear once it arrives
yes, pataks thingies are what I have been buying, they are very easy to cook an taste nice......gits sounds like a bad advert that should be in funniest adverts programs, don't think I would be tempted by them I know we have an asian market here in town somewhere, so I really must find it one day...........
