Good heavens, I hadn't realised. Here's Sparky: Thanks for the loan. I have no idea how to switch the fire off, though.
I'll be back later for ; there's a few things I need to do today.

well now that whole dragon business is sorted out..
and i'm sorry websailor but if yo think about it your name doesnt exactly suggest to me that you're a girl. and theres no need to be upset. people think i'm a guy all the time.

Oh, I wasn't in the least upset . I just thought it best you know
Some very strange topics come up on the boards and it helps sometimes to have some idea who you are talking to. Not that you can be sure with anyone
Didn't really think of that with the choice of name. There are so many woman sailing the world now, never mind the internet - yes, I know it's surfing really, but I have followed some yachting events so it seemed a good idea at the time.
It's the final of our Restoration thingy tonight. I do hope we win. Please wish us

well websailor. you're welcome to send some of those storms my say if yu olike. i'd love to have them. unfortunately you dont know where i live, and i cant tell you that really is a predicament... well just send it via god or whoever and i'm sure he'll know where i live.
i hope you're not religous and offended by that remark...
i just chose a name i like. it didnt matter to me wether i sounded like a guy or a girl. besides it just makes me laugh if someone thinks i'm a guy. i had 2 other names before this.... none of them particularily good... ah, dear... picking jsut the right name can be so hard.

Not in the least offended, and not religious either which doesn't mean I don't believe in God, I just have my own way of thinking.
Thunder and rain promised for this evening but has not arrived yet. The last lot produced a lot of flooding. Very strange to see cars floating down the main shopping street . Lots of houses flooded out too
I will see what I can do to send some your way, but I don't hold out much hope
Perhaps I should be a or a instead of a and do some

No, I didn't see the cars floating, only the photos in the local paper, and hearing from friends in the area. Many houses and shops have been flooded and there looks to be more to come. We are half way up a hill, and the water rushes past us down to the river.
Fortunately we have a huge railway embankment between us and the river, but it has come up very high on occasions sweeping vehicles away in the torrent. Several roads go through the river (fords) which is find when water levels are low but disastrous when up to exhaust or wheel arches.
I tried to find pictures on the web but couldn't. Most unusual. Might look again later.

wow! well i'm glad you're safe. but i think i'd be pretty upset if it was my house that was flooded. luckily i live up on a mountain so i've got pretty much no worries in that regard. besides the fact that we dont really eer get flooding here...
