Some of you might have noticed that I'm just not here all that often these days. It's nothing to do with the site; it has everything to do with Real Life, which has suddenly turned serious and a little complicated.
I'm not going to try to explain it all. Suffice it to say that I'm busy as hell at w*rk, I have voluntary w*rk as well, there's domestic matters to deal with when I do get time to myself at home, and I have to sleep sometime...
Anyway, to cap it all off I'll be out of town this weekend. It's a w*rk trip; there are meetings to go to and a look of sincere interest to fake at intervals. The bright side of it all is that I'll be in Adelaide, staying at Mum's place, having fun watching the process of selling the old house. The contract might get signed on Friday; I'll arrive just in time to share in the champagne. 
So this is my last appearance on hootoo until some time next week. I haven't left the place - I'm just not here, that's all.
