This is a note, to apologise for my totally rude invasion of your 'space' with hostile remarks, three weeks ago. I didn't know, then, (having been at h2g2 only 3 weeks) that one can't remove threads started by others from one's personal space. I also didn't know what a horrendously rude thing it is to do, to invade someone's space for the purpose of telling that person off. That doesn't make what I did all right, but my rudeness in posting to your space was ignorance, not malice.

I have had occasion to find out just how disagreeable it is to have hostile remarks left as gifts by one's neighbours. I wish I had known. I would never have done that to you, if I had done. What's done is done, and there the thing still sits. I'm sorry. I am truly sorry about that.

For what it's worth, I know better now.

My thanks for your apology, but it is not needed. What happened was weeks ago and as such was a long time go, in a galaxy far, far away. Dimly remembered, but exerting no force on the present or future With everything that anyone has said here being able to be pulled out of the ether at will, it seems the best way. My homespace says that anything I post here is only valid for that very moment (I have gone off the deep end before, and probably will again - though the frequency seems to be falling - and I apologise that you were the target. Sometimes I am an eejit), I have been here two years now and shudder to think of some of my old comments coming back to haunt me verbatum. So, forget about it , the future is the important thing .

I am glad you are onsite again, and your Colarado Entry is really good, wish I had the time/focus to do as well. I look forward to any other contributions you make to the Guide, and if there is anything I can help with, just yell. Well, work calls Until later....

I often wish I were not cursed with such a good memory. Every stupid thing I've ever said or done in nearly 40 years, sober, drunk, or otherwise altered, is etched in stone for me to wince at for all time. h2g2 is a permanent written archive. I had to fly off the handle here? Oy. So proud of me I'm not!

My pleasure Anyway, I have learnt it all the hard way On the way I found out most dead threads stay dead (though there are always a couple that will buck the trend....) so I wouldn't worry about it Until later...
