Hey, that long? Time has a way of getting away from us. I'll try to drop in more often. You know one thing I've never done that I would have liked to try. Unicyle riding.

Traveller in Time smiley - tit parking his bicycle
"smiley - biggrin That is more comfortable overhere.

Adjust it in height so you just get one foot flat on the ground (two on your toetips).

This sounds silly but search for a lawn or in your own lawn to start. You only need some two meters accros (ten feet) to start the practising. While it is more difficult to move on a lawn, it is more easy to keep on one place.

'Take a seat' on it, using your upper legs to hold the saddle in position. Put one foot on the upper pedal, forefoot resting on the pedal. In one move lift the other foot and push the upper pedal down, directly 'blocking' the other pedal with the lifting foot.

Try to stay 'on the spot' by moving a little forward and back again. Use your upper body to keep balance, use your arms 'as if' they are wings. Repeat this until you can keep 'on the spot' (about half a pedal rotation).

Now you should be able to advance some more. Try 'stay on the spot' on a pavement, this feels slippery at first but if you use your body to compensate it should work. "

I didn't know where to check. Hopefully you can direct me or help me to understand. I wrote a journal entry this morning but I do not find it. If there was something wrong I would be told wouldn't I? If nothing is wrong I should be able to find it, wouldn't I?

Can it be you have problems submitting something with a high word count? Seems other researchers have problems with that . "

Guess that will teach me to save it in a file before sending or typing it outside of h2g2 and copying into h2g2 after saving.

Thank you,

I found it. It was under guide entries. Now I guess I have to determine what to do with it. Oh well, at least I found it.
