We had the police around the other week to take statements from son 17. He had for the first - and hopefully the last - time in his life tried to shoplift some snacks to the value of approx 10 $. He called me right after the deed and the catch three weeks before that and we had almost forgotten about it. Except that son had to put his clothes and pocketmoney aside to pay the fine and thus postphone his purchase of a skateboard.

The police officers explained and adviced the son well. Decent people both of them - a yougish woman and an older man.

One of the trials of parenthood. Hopefully, as you say, that will end that.

I don't recall if I mentioned I was pulled over this past weekend by a State Highway Patrollady. Caught me doing 70 in a 55 zone. She was young and very nice. She gave me a warning. All the rest of the way home I kept thanking my lucky stars that I wouldn't have to put off another bill to pay for the ticket.

Just a warning! Good for you and your purse. Speeding tickets are quite high in this country.
