I've been using it on one of my machines for a few weeks now - I'm disappointed it can't get its data through a simple HTTP proxy, as then it would be running on at least another 3 machines...
I've reported this problem (2 weeks ago), but they're too busy to get back to me...

They're currently struggling to cope with the sheer volume of data they're sending and recieving. give them a chance to sort it out and ask again or if and when the seti newsgroup is set up post a comment on it on there. (i think that made sense)

Maybe the both of you, and others you know of, are interested in joining the h2g2 Researchers, adding your SETI results to those of the other that already joined the group. If so, visit http://www.h2g2.com/A193231 and follow the instructions on how to join the group. Your personal statistics won't be lost (you'll still get your credit), but the group will also benefit from it.
