My interest in WW2
Ive always been interested in WW2, because of the sacrifice made by all those young men and women back in those days.
My grandad served with the AA guns around Britain. His dad was in the Royal Sussex regiment in WW1.
My great Uncle was an Able Seaman, on the HMS Repulse and was on board when it was sunk along with the HMS Prince of wales. He survived the sinking but was killed on another boat during the evacuation of Singapore. He has a page dedicated to him on the Force Z survivors website
(a great website I might add on this battle)there is also his last letter he wrote to my nan on this page.

Thankyou so very much to all the veterans out there, and the poor lads left behind in the many corners of a Foreign field that will always be England. We owe you all so much.
