Clockwork Comics and Games
Posted May 8, 2000
The store is open and the cat out of the bag. Jefferson Powers has rented a space and opened a comics and games store. We painted the place with a checker board cieling and he built all of the furniture in it himself. These hand built shelves now contain nothing but the best in comics, collectable card games, role playing games, and any kind of game that seems fun. Intended to be a place where little Timmy can go with grandma and not have them feel awkward, the place is also full of subtle things that should amuse counterculture individuals. Although he wont be able to get an ad in the phone book yet, his store will be running ads in "The Onion" in Denver untill he can do so.

I am about to get in to a car and drive in to town. I have to see a coffee house about a man. This will be the end of my evening.Tomorrow, I have much research to do. I intend to learn how to find research articles from before the seventies.

Dear Journal
Posted Sep 7, 1999
Today was Memorial Day in Colorado, USA. It is a national holiday during which no one is supposed to work. I ended up working. I was the only person in the Laboratory today, so when I left at 7PM I hadn't seen a soul all day. When I got home, the house was dark. None of my roomates were in. My keys had tangled themselves in such a way that I had to twist them all together in order to get the door key to open the door. Lacking human contact for a full day... I neglected my studies for the rest of the night and read forums on h2g2 all night. It was more than absorbing, and I must watch that I only do so when I am free of other obligations. I am working on researching many things which I hope to submit to h2g2 some day. For now, I must sleep.
