Peter,
Although I am having no problems signing in on site now, my machine will not let me put the site fully in favourites as the other one did. It told me there was a danger of others getting my name and other information if I did this.
The machine is Dell and the Safety system and firewall came free with the machine it is a much tighter system than the commercial one Rob has on his.
I wondered if there is an easy way around this or is it best left alone as I can get on line without bother on the sign in system now, I never sign out though.
Just wondering if your active brain has an answer as I am still at school.
Regards Frank.

With a new machine almost certainly you are running Windows XP; has it been updated to XP Sp2? If so, have you updated XP Sp2?
If you have XP Sp2, are you using the Windows' firewall or a propriety one? I have my XP firewall disabled and I use the free firewall from Zone Alarm, giving better control.
Any site you really trust (and I would trust the BBC) can be placed in your Internet Explorer Trusted Sites zone. This will unblock security locks and warnings. To do this click on Tools in Internet Explorer. From the Tools drop-down menu select 'Internet Options ...' then select 'Security' and click on Trusted Sites (a green icon) then on Sites. Paste the address you trust in the window labled "Add this Web site to the zone:" leave "Require server verification (https for all sites in this zone" ticked; then click OK.
You can then put your Personal Page in Favourites, as of old.

Thank you Peter full and simple as usual, I was not too bothered until I had to sign in before answering your mail.
Oh and I never ignore smilies, less muscles used than frownies.
Regards Frank.
