Peter as a bit of a WW2 bod, I was wondering if you can help me on a real tough nut of a question. An aussie pal of mine told me that the WWI cemetery Villiers Bretonneux was the scene of fighing in WWII and that bullets marks still scarred the memorial. He was wondering what had happened there and who exactly had fought among the graves. Scouring the web as to who fought this little action has brung up nothing. Do you know of anything behind this strange little episode?
http://www.typenet.com/html/anzac_s.html gives the briefest of mentions
Thanks,
Simon
