Dear Peter,
I don't ask a lot in life but I have had the devil's own job trying to find how to get Smiley on to my work.
I found H2G2 and saw dozens of various expressions but can't find how to use them.
Please help as you have before, my friend. You don't want me to be depressed again, do you?
Best wishes, hope you are well. Incidentally have you got your photograph published for us yet? That's another thing I'm battling with, no not your photo!

Hi Elvira >-| I posted most of the smilies you can do on this website here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/ww2/F1667054?thread=440825&show=20&skip=0&lpcr=0 Just remember to remove the full stop from each one, I had to put that in not to activate them. Test them in Preview until you get the hang of it. Cheers

Hello Elvira,
Peter has sent you to my site after I asked him the same question. He keeps some of us old codgers on the right track and we do need that now and again.
I can assure you it all works as usual with Peter he know his cakes and things. the actual smiley is,
:.) take out the full stop as that is only there to show you the two sections making up the smile.
Regards Frank.
