Jerms - a Brief flicker and then gone again. Posted Jun 10, 2005
I'm currently working on what will possibly be my last university assignment ever, and it's due in after the weekend. Plenty of time.
Strangely, the two hard sections (parts B and C) were the bits I'd completed early. Part A - the 'trivial' stuff - is giving me grief. I'm so amused that it itches.
But! Out of the three questions in part A, I've just managed to figure out what's wrong with the first one, so now that works. Which has also helped me get closer to getting questions two and three right...
Woo!

Question two finished.
If I can get question three finished before I meet H for lunch in about twenty minutes, then I can have an early day for once! And for the first time in six weeks, I can have the whole weekend to myself!
Twenty minutes. Wish me luck.
(I find it ironic that the answer to question three is one line, yet it's held me up longer than all of part C, which is a full page of code. )

Well it's thirty minutes later, and I'm still no closer to getting it sorted. It looks like I may be coming back again after lunch.
Never mind, it's not far to walk.
Also H hasn't shown up yet, so meh.

And now she's very late. I hope there's a message on my phone waiting for me.
I want lunch. It's 5pm, and ing question three still isn't ing working!
It's now seven lines of code. Not exactly impressive. Although five of them are recursive, quite often to themselves, which is why it's so hard to figure out where the actual problem is.

Well it /is/ your last assignment.
Relax. Take a break, get some food. If you stop stressing out about it it will probably be easier.
