Yeah thats another problem I dont have.
They did a programme where they made 30 GCSE C and below students retake their GCSEs in 1950s style schooling.

Erm... its the standard 15/ 16 exams. General something somethin exam.
It was quite interesting actually. Most of the kids failed the exams (about 90%) or got lower marks in the re sits.

i wonder why they decided on the 50's.
seems to me all that standing in a corner when you're in trouble couldnt have helped anyone learn much.

My mate told me in history. We were doing the cold war so i asked what USSR stood for (union of soviet socialist republic or sumthing to that effect) so I asked what GCSE was while I was at it.
