It;s the first study you look at for As level. Unfortunatly I dropped it at As level for history *FOOLISH, FOOLISH, FOOLISH!* but I'm taking it next year so thats cool.

Nope. The teacher was naff, the exam board asks too much and it was nothing like last year. It must've had at least a 60% drop out rate.

60%...Sounds like some of my classes....

Yeah but that was in the first four or five lessons, not because people were failing.

In fact, it seems to be the only subject where they're trying to keep failing pupils in.

Ahh I see... Yes, I think in most of my classes people dropped out because they were failing.

Do you really think that they're actually trying to fail people in that subject? I've often wondered what the purpose of that would be.

They did do that but I think it was because they weren't teaching us the things we need, rather than wanting us to fail.

Ahh... That would make more sense I suppose.
I had a chemistry teacher who gave each student a copy of the learning outcomes of the course and checked off each one we did.... Oddly enough everyone in the class did extremely poorly anyway. She was a terrible teacher.

I'd quite like that. I think thats whats going to get me through RS. It's also how I blagged my way through geography last year.

What? Knowing what the learning outcomes were?

With a copy of the silly-bus which is what I assumed you meant.

What's a silly-bus?

Silibus but I don't know how to spell it. The Curriculum for that course.

Syllabus I think it's spelt. But my politics teacher has a habit of messing with words. Silly bus, Ombudsman and Ombudsmouse and there was one for the local office buildings that I can't remember.

Ombudsman... I can never remember that word! I always just say The Omni-something, and fortunately people usually know what I mean.

Ombudsman- peoples friend. I never even heard of it until i started my politics course.

We have one on campus to make sure that everything is done fairly and no one gets cheated or anything. Thats where I first heard about it.

I never have anything to complain about either. But I suppose its nice to know that its there if I ever needed it. Although to be honest I dont know that if I complained to them they would help me. Maybe I just dont trust anyone, but I'd be afraid it's just something to make people feel better but doesnt actually do anything Does that make sense?
