Mikes WW2 research etc.
I am a 64 year old semi recluse now living in Kent and am trying to record some of the information relating to my 60 year quest to find out about the Father I never knew; Maurice "Roy" Skeet, who served with RAF Bomber Command from 1937 to 1942 and died in tragic circumstances on the 26th of June 1942.
Because of personal circumstances my principle research was delayed until the year 2000.
I have recorded an updated draft of my personal historical memoir 'An Airman's Son' with a collection of my poems and a story relating to the activities of my father's Unit 'The Communications Flight, Iraq' during the Siege and Battle for RAF Station Habbaniya, Iraq that took place in May 1941. These illustrate some of what I have discovered with the thoughts and emotions I have experienced.
My personal Website at: -

/>includes much of the detail and results of my research with some of the few illustrations I have managed to preserve and acquire.
