Aren't parents annoying. Especially if you are joking around and they say "I don't like your attitude." Last night I moved back into my room (my parents cleaned the carpets and painted the walls). I also watched beatlejuice and ate cookie dough (good stuff -- esp right out of the tube (because of the eggs in the homemade dough, you are not supposed to eat it because it can contain salmanila (however you spell it))). I also got the new MAD. The back cover is great. Dr. Kavorkian's Children's Book Club. My favorite is "My Little Pony and Glue Factory." We have started studying the physics of sports in physics. Not that interesting although learning about mass and acceleration is ok. The only problem is that I have learned a lot of it in middle school science classes. Oh well.

Another boring day of my life. Woke up, went to church, came home, went to work. Basic sunday for me with nothing special.

It is over. We marched today. We got 3rd place in our category (4A) and best cattle guard (color guard if you need the proper term -- the flags on the field) in our category and they tied with another school for best overall. We were only 5 points ahead of the winning band in our section and the two bands ahead of us are normally the top ones at state. Hopefully we will be able to close the gap and pass them in the next week and a half before regionals. At lunch today, I learned that the extent I can hate someone is greater than I ever thought before. I had to take to lunch (I didn't know who she was) the most annoying person in the world. She went on and on about absolutely nothing. Then after the competition and the football game (great putting them on the same day and making us march during half time) we were walking out to my car where she had left her insturment case and she started crying. I asked her what was wrong and she started talking about her reed falling off before we marched the football game. She was crying like it was the end of the world for a stupid little thing that messed up in a football game where it doesn't matter how well you do (although we did get a standing ovation from the rest of the student body -- first time it has happened -- they normally think of us as band geeks). All I could think on the way home was "That bitch must die."

Hey. tomarrow is competition and I have to work tonight until 10:30. I have to be there at 8 tomarrow. great way to get ready to win, but I don't really have a choice. Spent an hour last night painting little signs that go up on my sections locker. I am so untalented at painting. They looked pathetic and I spelled someone's name wrong. I felt aweful.

Not Dead

hey. I was reading the responses to my first entry (I haven't had much time to get on in -- well, a really long time). Yes, I am an American. I got my first job over the summer (like you know from the first entry) and that is what took my time up since then. For the past 5 weeks I have been really involved with band and school. We have our first competition this week and I am getting excited. I have a class this year that is awesome. It is physics, but with some other stuff added in. It is a new curriculum that teaches physics by activity. Every week we perform at least 4 labs about everything and anything in physics. Another twist on the standard class is that it is telecommunicated to a school 10 miles away. We are the guinie (sorry, I can't spell) pigs of the whole distance learning concept. We are working out the bugs with a small class so that when they accually have to telecommunicate something to or from a school many miles away, most of the problems will be worked out. Not much else going on. Less than 3 months before I turn 17 (I am excited about turning 17 because my dad won't let me drive with my radio on until then and that is the age you have to be to gain entrance into R rated movies here in the states). Until I write again -- ADIOS.
