I went to Western State Honor Band this past weekend. It was fun. I was chosen to go becuase the Wind Ensamble was off playing in Eastern Colorado. The trip down there was so much fun. Auditions just really sucked. When I got the music I was about to start lessons with this guy that teaches at a middle school. I was supposed to have 2 lessons on the next two Thursdays. On wednesday I was told that he couldn't do it on Thursday and that Tuesday would be better. I thought 'oh, one lesson, I should be fine.' The next tuesday I was asked if monday was better. I just said screw it and I was screwed over because of it. I got 6th out of 8th place (Without practicing at all I beat 2 people (one guy was just stupid and the girl was a freshman). Then we played all afternoon/evening. The next day we played all day, heard two concerts, and then listened to the middle school honor band and then played in ours. I bought the Yellow Version of Pokemon and now have played it for 4:30 hours. Very Addictive game. One of my friends that lives miles away is obsessed with me. She might move here even. I don't know what to do. I don't want to get into a relationship with her. I just want to be friends. I don't know what is going on. I am so confused. The only other times I have ever had a girl like me like that (that I know of) was in a theater the other day. A 14 year olds friend asked me out for her. I obviously said no. I just don't know what to do.

I went to see 'The Bachelor' last night. My parents wanted to see 'Music of the Heart' and I really did not want to see it and so I got them to pay for me to go to the movie next door that was at the same time. It was good. Much better than the critics thought. Pretty good humor. "I don't want your vagina. I just want to marry you." Before the movie started, a group of 3 girls were sitting in front of me. One came back and asked me if I would go out with her friend. I said no and she asked me why. I asked her how old she was and she said 14. I told her "That's why." Bitch kept hounding me until 10 minutes into the movie and then after that they kept leaving the theater and when they would walk back in they would throw wrappers at me and tell me how mean I was. If you pay to go to a movie, watch the damn movie.

Bastards
Posted Nov 9, 1999
I took a driver's safety class today in order to get my ticket deffered (however you spell it). We sat around for 3 hours and talked about technicalities of the law. Legal in Legal out, blinkers, the circle, etc. Whatever. Kinda a waste of $50 but it was worth it to get the ticket deffered. Easiest class I have ever taken. They tried to give the cops a good name. Isn't going to work with fox and cruz out there. I found out today that there are 5 cops out there with no other mission than to give tickets. Bastards. Other than that my day is good. Bertha is back which always puts me in a good mood. That was soo much fun last year. Chocolate Syrup.

DAMN FALL
Posted Nov 7, 1999
I hate fall. surrounded by dying and going to sleep stuff. It didn't really hit me that it was fall until today. This morning I went shopping with my parents (I am interested in a camera and I talked them into going to a place that has used cameras -- I though maybe we would get some progress on getting me one). We spend all morning out doing stupid stuff until we get there. Same camera that has always been there. We spend 30 seconds looking at it and then get ready to leave. My mom has found shorts for cheap and spends the next 15 minutes trying them on and buying them. When I got home I went to Hastings to rent movies. I got some and came back home and started watching. My dad comes down ticked at me and says he needs my help getting the leaves up. I just wasted the entire damn morning doing stuff with them. I then come home and get lectured by both of my parents about how being part of a family has jobs in it. I then help for a few hours with the damn leaves and then go in a finish watching my movie. I eat dinner alone because my parents were entertaining and I had to work. I can't wait until college. Get out of this town and away from this house (probably for good seeing as my parents plan to move to an even smaller town (traffic here is getting too bad for them) -- even bought a lot already). I should stop dragging myself into these stupid little outings with my parents. I don't care about where they want to go and they don't care about where I want to go. I should go where I want to and they should go where they want to. It's as easy as that. They don't really want to spend time with me and I really don't want to spend time with them. I can't wait until spring break. That was the best week of my life last year because I lived with my sister for a week. This year I spend a week with my other sister (most likely) and it should be fun. I had no problem leaving home but when I left my sister's house last year I cried for over an hour on the plane home.

This weekend has been fun. Worked Friday thru sunday and got lots of hours (tacos in the bank, baby (sorry, had to)). Parent teacher conferences have been the past two days. I like not having to go to school. Went to Cederedge yesterday. I am glad my parents are moving there after I leave for college although it will be a longer drive to see my friends when I come home from school. I might get a good room up above the garage away from where my parents room will be which would be good (my room is now away from my parents room and it is a very good thing). I got some incense (however you spell it) on that trip and my mom bought some more beanie babies (I understand getting the cool ones, but you don't need to get every one ever made). Not much else going on. I am not looking forward to going to school again tomarrow.
