smiley - yikesSmarties should never be confused with M&M's!! Smarties are the worlds greatest candy, M&M's are a cheap immitation which are not worthy to be spoken of in the same breath.

*hangs head in shame* For candy covered chocolate, I prefer M&M's, but that could be because I grew up with them. smiley - erm

And smarties are round, sugary discs. No chocolate.

smiley - yikesNo smiley - choc in your Smarties????? What kind of backward country are you living in Amy? If they are passing off "round sugary disks" as Smarties, then Bob knows what else they are hiding from you! smiley - winkeye

Smarties (that is "real" Smarties) are very, very similar to, but infinitely more palatable than, M&M's. And Smarties were around long before M&M's were invented (or should I say copied).

I know, I've had some "real" smarties... I still prefer the American version.

And not having the sugar discy version of Smarties???! What's WRONG with you guys?! That's like my favorite candy *ever*. smiley - biggrin

We probably have the "round sugary disks" but call them something else. Most likely we'd call them "Don't let anyone tell you that these are Smarties".
