Pickwick Man and not a wally..........
Hello and welcome to my page.........
Who am I?
I am new to h2g2 and at present trying to find my own feet in this new world.
I am 33 and live in a village in Lancashire, England called Whalley. For those of you who have never heard of the place you have most probally just pronounced it in your head as 'Wally'. On this occation I will let you off as the place is really pronounced 'Wall-Lee'.
When Slartibartfarst made my village (as I believe he did after the designing the fjords in Norway), I think he must had a sense of humour when naming it, or he was just in a bad mood.
I apologise to all those football fans out their, but I am fan of Blackburn Rovers. One thing I can say that unlike most apart from Arsenal, Chelsea or Man U, I have seen my beloved team lift the Premiership Trophy.
I will now discover the joys of h2g2. Please feel free to visit me again as I will hopefully have a few more interesting things to say about myself.
By the way I am not a Wally......
