No, I haven't found a public domain picture of the darn things, but, I did find a very nice picture which is being used by one of the parties in our current election campaign: http://www.liberal.ca/files/2011/03/hope-for-canada.jpg
I find it very stirring.
Too bad I don't have the copyright.

Mala might do one for us. And I've adapted a photograph with a Creative Commons Licence - I need to contact the photographer and send him a copy though to ask permission. But I'm waiting to see if Mala will do one for us.
We'll get there.

You are right, it is inspiring. There's more than a touch of some of the illustrations of Ted Hughes' Iron Man too.

Of course, that's the sort of inspiring landscape we Canadians see every morning when we look out the window.
I hesitate to mention this, but, in real life I'm a visual artist. I've never done much work with computer art, except as preparatory work for other pieces. What are your s`pecifications for an illustration?

Damn, damn, damn, I missed this. Mala's done one, though I've not seen it yet. I am SO sorry.... Really sorry. I'm active in too many conversations at the moment, but this was a bad one to miss.

don't worry! I've got lot's on my plate already. I was only thinking that if no one else was around I might give it a shot.
