Tried to post this in response to Sang in http://www.bbc.co.uk/user/U500175/conversation/reply/F1599166/T8065847/P106354136 but even the word, "Yes" refused to post. Yes, indeed. Thank you for that (comic). Like the categories above-mentioned, and I'm sure there are more. Re the "Official" vs "Under" guides, I rather like the idea, but I suppose with the proper "tags" there may not need to be a division. Even odder, it posted fine here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/forums/A242470/conversation/view/F30859/T8074681/page/last#P106557926

Barlesque doesn't like tags or smileys very much, and once it's decided it doesn't like you, it tends to sulk. A lot.
I certainly hope that we can use catrgories and tags to implement a unified guide.

Yes, and apparently it doesn't like single quotes, either, even when used as apostrophes. I didn't even use a smiley in that post, but I was told in that other thread that the new system also doesn't allow you to post anything to someone else's journal. What's the use in posting to it if no one can comment?
Tags: We can always use one, "Just For Fun" ... A lot of the stuff that was in the "official" guide when it was all fields and forest probably should go there. Of course, a lot of that never survived the foop, since a lot of the authors never came back. "Recipes" is another category, or maybe a sub-category somewhere. "Domestic Technology"?

I like these categories, and thank you.
I must admit, I am sticking to Alabaster for now.

PS - " survived the foop"?
Annoyingly, the aposttophe thing as apparently a bug in DNA revealed by Barlesque, not the other way round.
Key: Complain about this post
