Good point well made. Time was when h2g2 was open to diversity in the same way. I've been away too long to know if it still is. Though Bomba was genuine in wishing you luck and Mal's question about asking you if you'd go to Peru was an interesting one.
Unfortunately you are now doing exactly what you accuse the people here of doing - ie you are jumping to conclusions. For example, neither Bomba nor Mal are Brits.
The multiple yikesing is ridiculous, offensive, cowardly and pathetic though. But on the other hand, if you are going to hurl out insults, at least make them accurate!
