I am sorry if I offended you. I can see your point, but you must believe that I have my reasons for my feelings as well. Reasons that I cannot go in to on the guide for various reasons.

I want no bad blood between us. I've known you from the guide and IM for quite a while now and have always respected your opinions, even when I disagree. If I have made you angry, you have my apology. If you want to better understand my position, let me know and I will explain off the guide. The whole discussion has left a very bitter taste in my mouth, which is why I curtailed my original post to begin with.

One of the things I love about the Atelier is the variety of people there, and the different life experiences we bring to the salon.

You are 100% entitled to your opinion and since it is based on your own experiences it is entirely valid for you.

I agree with you totally that PCness is a vilely oppresive thing. But based on my UKian perspective I see other things in and about your government to be more afraid of.

My feeling is that we have the same hopes and fears, but in a slightly different proportion. No harm in that.
