Im not ashamed to say that hurt my brain.
Im not even sure I understood most of it.
My questions Hoo, are these, what does it mean for me the rugby player in the bar?
How will the discoveries ever affect my life?
Will the doors opened by the new knowledge gleaned from this only lead us through to other doors?

There is a scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail where a knight breaks into a castle of gorgeous blondes. He crashes around in a manly way, and the chief blonde keeps on trying to trip him up and land underneath. The knight eventually crashes out, and the blonde is left standing.
She says two words:
"Oh shit!"
Like the girl in the film, I never saw him again.

Um...
Thanks for the book. I think I get the point. I'll let you know when I get a chance to actually read it - it was out of its wrapper two minutes before someone asked to borrow it, and how could I refuse?
A most pleasant and unexpected surprise. Thank you both.

How could you refuse?
By saying that "Thes two women will rain down the wrath of the goddess if I don't read it immediately, and that wouldn't be in your best interests, dear, now would it?" We wouldn't of course, 'cos we are sweet-hearts, but she needn't know that.
I don't know the book myself, so blame my sister-in-crime if it is crap. Nuttin' to do wi' me, darlin'. If it is good, then it was *entirely* my idea of course! I do however trust said sister-in-crime.
On a different subject entirely. Who do I tell that I have sensitivities to wheat and dairy? - chili con carne and rice are good, spagetti carbonara or pizza quattro fromaggi are bad, f'rinstance.
And can I hang around for most of Sunday? I will be going up to Halifax in preparation for starting work there on Monday morning, and don't really want to spend more time on my todd there than strictly necessary, if I can spend it winding you up instead.

You tell me, if you want to make the rather surprising assumption that I've forgotten. Chilli con carne and rice, OK. Or possibly seafood stir fry, if you like squid, prawns and mussels.
Sunday, yeah, course you can. If the weather's any good we could go out for a walk up a hill - it's supposed to be v. cold this weekend, so views from the Wrekin should be spectacular. Wear sensible shoes and a thick cardy and you should be OK.
What time to expect you?

Ach, I never assume that people remember crap like that. Take it as humility on my part rather than an aspertion.

Yum!!!

So not the Swedish -25 kit then?
>> What time to expect you?
Not before 4.30 on Saturday. I will try not to make it later than 5.00 though. I'll phone when I am en route.
