Has it stopped raining yet? My own concern with the weather relates only to getting the washing dry, so I didn't post to that thread but share the sentiments!

These things ebb and flow, and it is a matter of months before you can even tell which way the tide is actually going, and it can be years before you turn round and realise that the tide has finally done its stuff and turned again.
However there IS a tide.
