The question I have from <./>T434236&skip=371</.> the post it list (plus post 369 I think) and the message center thread at my personal space ("Just checking...") is this: Is it alway's that difficult for somebody to already agree with you? A simple yes or no will suffice.

I was simply extremely confused by the way you used the word 'that'. Also the tone of the thread had got a bit antagonistic at that point, and I was presupposing antagonism that wasn't there. I was surprised, because our exchanges had been in broad agreement up to that point.

I don't do confusion that well, though I do do agreement agreeably!



I guess the answer is 'no'.

There is one thing you may be able to clear up, post 272 compared with 289. Are you disagreeing with yourself re: food analogy?

That was just a rather crude example of language use demonstrating the different ways that 'love' is used. "I like to eat chickens" vs "I f**k chickens".

The food analogies then got out of hand. I still think that the example of a use of language was a good one, and that the use of food as an analogy for human relationships is a bad one.

Ahh, "I love chicken" / "chickens" For some reason, maybe multiple partners being in the *air* I thought you meant one chicken to love as opposed to a want to love many chikens.

The thought "did it mean" the f**king of chickens the language twist never occured until the next day. Yes it had me confussed, which way it was meant with all the food analogy that followed.

I just have a very nasty mind and a devious way with words.

The food analogies were ok, but ultimately they distracted us all.

It is a wierd night here, tonight, and I am going to go to bed.
