I check in from time to time and I still follow the fortunes of h2g2 with real interest.
Funny coincidene today as one of the "have you missed" entries is an article that I contributed to many years ago.

I was the CEO at h2g2 ( formerly The Digital Village) and it was Douglas and I who set things up together originally. So, yes , I had a hand in setting the whole thing up, but it was very much a team effort from a lot of great people.

Yes, The Digital Village was the Company that made ST. We changed the name of the Company to h2g2 ltd when we decided to focus on h2g2.com

Hello there
I'm still playing the game. I've just about managed to get hold of one of titania's eyes with help from the Bell bot, which I was a bit chuffed about... but which is probably awful compared to everyone else 
How long did the game take to make? I mean it must have taken an age (maybe even a whole yonk), to develop, particularly with the speach and the English recognition, and the graphics....and what can I say I think its a great game.
It takes forever to finish... but I like value for money

i cant get it working on XP 
oh well, ill just have to rebuild my 98 box.
i never undersood what i was meant to do in the game (probably because i never read the manual or anything) but it was still really fun to play once you got first class, i liked saying random things to the bots to see what they would say. only had 200mhz so it ran slower than the war in iraq
