For the curious... I was the CEO of h2g2 before we sold it to the BBC to make sure that it had a home and all the work that the community had done didnt go to waste along with so many other internet companies.... What a mouthful!
I co-founded h2g2 ( originally The Digital Village) with Douglas Adams several years ago. I'm really proud of my contribution to getting h2g2 off the ground. When I spoke at Douglas' Memorial service I felt very strongly that h2g2 is going to be another of his great legacies. We used to joke that we wanted to build the dominant galactic guide brand within the next thousand years and here we are starting with the Earth edition. I am still very much in touch with the team at the Beeb and enjoy talking over issues about the development of h2g2.

Thanks for caring enough to find us a place to call our own. I've gained so much help with my writing from this site. And all the parties, and fun times of course.

Thanks for that . I cared more than you'd guess. I miss running h2g2 very much.

I think a couple of jobs are coming up soon. I've got my eye on one, but I'll let you have the other if you'd like it.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
