(Un?)fortunate look-alikes
  | For about three years or so, whenever I've entered a new circle of acquaintances, I have eventually gotten an excited "Oh, do you know who you look like?" from someone. Apparently, when my hair is a certain way, and at certain angles, I bear a striking resemblance to American actor and occasional junkie Robert Downey, Jr. Originally, I tried responding in a fresh and honest way to each of these revelations, but it's since settled in a stock phrase like, "Not as many tract marks, though," or "Before all that heroin." |
