Happy birthday, Hypo!
I feel only slightly miffed that I went to all the trouble of remembering your birthday, and then you post a post telling me - ah, well. I guess I wasn't using them brain cells anyway...
Hope you're having a great day and that the birthday fairies brought lots of tributes.

Sorry bubs - I will bear in mind your excellent memory (among other tremendous features) in future. It was not my intention to question it, at all...! It was probably my dodgy memory, in fact, that led to the lapse. Do not question your fantasticness.
You are the first in 'tribute' terms, and if you are unique in this it would not be the only thing in which you had revealed that you are.
*walks away singing "32 today, 32 today..."!*
Happy Birthday, H'man!!

Happy birthday, m'dear! (Even if I am three days late!)
I'd sing, but you wouldn't want me to. It might hurt.
Happy Birthday, H'man!!

HELLO JJJ!
Long time no hear about. Your tardiness is, of course, forgiven - it is the preserve of the nobility, after all...! I will cautiously endorse your personal reluctance to sing, at least in public...
Where are you, at present, and what are you doing?
Happy Birthday, H'man!!
JJJHowqua Posted May 4, 2001
I am, at present, in the good ol' UK, near London. I am working, with intent to travel over summer (that would be June). And that's it, really.
How life down under?
Happy Birthday, H'man!!

Getting colder, I'm afraid - but then, I (and bubster, too, of course) am in one of the only parts of it where that's actually possible. The State of Origin is taking over the television again, The Scarlet Pimpernel's on in competition over at the ABC, and news continues to be uninspiring at the best of times. That almost sums it up, really.
What's happening in the UK to make you refer to it as 'the good ol''...?
Happy Birthday, H'man!!
JJJHowqua Posted May 7, 2001
Oh, England always been 'the good ol'' in my mind. Good, but old, is exactly how I've always though of it. Doesn't that expression just fit staid ol' England perfectly?
Ahh, even I over here in the good ol' have heard about the State of Origin- we were going to get ourselves up and over to the Aussie pub in London to watch it, but we were asleep instead. But the fact that Qld beat us (NSW, that is)! Well, it ruined some people's day today when they heard, and an unusually beautiful day today at that.
Happy Birthday, H'man!!
Hypoman Posted May 9, 2001
Yes... I'd heard that beautiful days ARE somewhat unusual in that part of the world...
What else is happening? The SOO annoyed all of us, too, but that's only because I think there's a perennial resentment of Queensland at this time of the year in this part of the world.
I'm currently trying to write a piece for aerobics on exercise to music and the motivational qualities of music in relation to that. It's very difficult, because nobody knows enough about it to make anything worth saying. Bit like trying to write a 'Guide, really...
Happy Birthday, H'man!!
JJJHowqua Posted May 10, 2001
Well... um... music has a beat, like, and people move that beat, and, you know... yes, I guess you're right. Not worth saying.
Me? Work work work, dull dull dull, so I'l have money money money to travel travel travel! (Guess which bit I'm looking forward tot he most?)
Key: Complain about this post
Happy Birthday, H'man!!
