Classic Comfort

Yo all

I am a naturally happy, gregarious person.

I rode my BSA Bantam D14/B (Rosie) for years. She was my first, only and currentbike. Following a bike accident 9 years ago that left me unable to hold up a two wheeler, for thelast couple of years I have been saving up for Rosie to be triked (yes I found someone mad enough in Newcastle to have a go!) and get back on the road.

I definately don't like people arrogant enough to think they can criticise my bike or my plans for her.

I spent a lot of time performing on the Rock/Folk scene in the 60's/70's, was a Morris musician until 1994 when my then partner ran off with my melodeon ( a good job too I hear some of you say!), and I sing-alonga ACDC at the top of my voice in the car so my musical tastes are eclectic to say the least. I mainly listen to music in the car over at the workshop so I can have it as loud as I like without bothering people.

I like tranquilty in the house. I read obssesivly, specialy in the winter, too much to do outside in the good weather! Have radio 4/world radio on if I need some friendly voices in the night.

I currently live in a very rural village, renting a cottage and sharing a big log fire with my 2 old cats, I cook really well and have a scarily weird sense of humour (according to my daughter!).

I am soon to move to a bungalow to try and reduce the spectacular stunt falls I have been having since I have been living on my own (well one fall was off the bonnet of the jag...). No open fire there but if you have a good imagination I can draw one on the wall and we can spend an evening making crackly fire noises together.

Hair is White Blonde at the moment, change it to various blonde shades when bored, length changes all the time as well, blue/grey eyes, sometimes glasses, sometimes contacts. Some tattoos, pierced ears.

If ACDC’s Rosie was on speed she would, like me, weigh in at 17.5 stone at the moment. Weight was gained gradually following the accident and I have lost 4.5 stone since Xmas 05(very careless of me!). I am still losing weight gradually but was always built for comfort not speed (a bit like my dress sense!)

Favourite Quote is from Sappho: As for them who find fault, may silliness and sorrow overtake them.
