(Day after) Parade Day, PT 2

The parade was great, the class I voted for won, I have good news all around.

The night grows ever longer.

It's almost time to change the smiley again. Well, a few months off.

Parade Day, Pt 1.5

There are a few things that could happen this weekend, but I know not if they will. I'm just hoping for a sound breakfast this morning. I could go fix up something now, in fact. I'm off.

Parade Day, Pt. I

Today is the day of the first parade!

To quote Dodgeball, I'm "superpsyched and ready!"

However, my gloves are too big and the deal with my shoes is going to be a rough one. I have bandages on my ankles already. I'm just glad I was able to swap mine with a bloke whose feet are just marginally smaller than mine.

I do wonder what our hats shall look like with plumes in them, though.

This weekend shall be busy.

I have loads of groceries to retrieve, two birthday parties to attend, one of which I must cook for, and if time permits I have a soccer game to attend.

Ah, well, it doesn't matter. I will still have time, hopefully, to sit back and relax....and, more importantly, to get my stances on the jam section on "Evil Ways" (Santana) right. It IS marching season, you know!

I have started again on a new story.

This plot has been on my mind for weeks, I've just been too busy to attend to it. Well, now the first chapter has taken flight, and I may write the second tomorrow. May. May not. It depends on what my flawed "editor" thinks of it. My "polished editor" thinks it's 'interesting.' (in those words) Thing is, I had already told her the plot, whereas my flawed editor has no clue what'll hit her. I will show her in the morning. When I get farther I'll definitely put it on h2g2. I feel that it would fit in here.

Ha! I'm acting like a fretting mother! 'Oh, I don't know.....I know it won't get along in public school, so let's send it to the Guide."

Pathetic.
