Hi Bob,
thanks for visiting... I like to get to know as many weird people as possible, hope I can add you to my collection.
Hyphephilia is love of fabric textures, like a leather or rubber fetish but extended to all sorts of cloth. (Congratulations, btw, on being the first person to ask about this!) Mainly velvet, satin, silk fabrics, lace, PVC and other slippery textures etc. (Not so much fur- unless it's still on an animal.) I've always been one for feeling textures in shops, like with clothes, but now I sew a lot I come into contact with loads of different fabrics. It's just my little quirk... well, one of them. You can never have enough!
I noticed you'd mentioned your fiancee on your space, congratulations! The kibbutz sounds really interesting... what's it like living there? I am also from the UK, and agree about the weather. I'm in Warwickshire to be exact, which is not particularly interesting. And I make corsets (but you probably knew that anyway...)
See you about, anyway.

ah now I know what it is, I used to studdy psycology and we actully studdied that as part of obsessions, although it really shows how much attenchan I paide in class becase I had forgotten the name
the Kibbutz is a great place, for a start it is a socolist society wich really makes the whol thing alot more friendly than the rest of the world I mean you litrolly can leave your doors unlocked or the key right next to the door your windows open and nothing will be taken, or if it is it is braught back when people have finished with it it is an amazing place, compleatly unlike any thing els. I am having so muchfun ere, we are right on the beach, more or less any way you have to walk down a bit of hill but thats it it is amazing the medertanian cost line always is
Do you get much bisnes with the corset making I mean?
do you have another job as wel or are you suporting yourself soly on that?
I havent found a job yet but at this point it looks like boring productionline work..YAY what fun
talk to you soon darlin

Prizes? You might get a sock-puppet... that's all I can spare at the moment.
I did psychology for a year... most of the time I spent laughing about Freud.
The Kibbutz seems to work well. Is it a widespread way of life? I'd like to live somewhere unusual... still with parents at the moment though.
The corsets started off as me making them for me, since they're so expensive to buy. Then my friend joined, and we got some requests, so we went into busines... sort of. We did a stall the other day and took more orders than ever, so now we'll start getting some proper work done. I'd like to carry it on so it becomes a proper job, since I'm not keen on the idea of working for someone else. (I'm 19 at the moment, at university, so I'm trying to avoid 'real' jobs. I worked as a hotel waitress once- for 3 days! They wanted an 11 hour shift, which didn't seem quite right.)
You could always extend any skills you have into a job to support yourself- this is how I plan to live. Hopefully, it'll work.
See you... and have a sock puppet.

I have a bit of a problem really, becase my mane talent lies in entertaining people. and that is so hard to break in to. I seem to be able to read a ordeance and make them laugh even if it is only by comming out with odd statements
oh well I will find somthin I am shure, if nothing else I can cook, people always like my cooking, espechally my choclate cakes
how are you any way?
anything exiting going on in your life?

and I am expecting the usual threts, you know "treat my daughter right or I will make you sorry" that sort of thing. should be fun
*runs off to play with his sock puppet *

Hurrah! I wonder how many other people get my strange remarks.
Nothing as interesting is happening to me... just sewing lots to make up these orders. It's starting to feel like a proper job.
Fathers always say that... but I'm sure they're rarely that bad. You could always say something odd, or show him your sock puppet.
Entertaining people is a valuable skill. You've managed to get engaged, so you must have something about you!
Good luck with the father, and thanks for the
to share around in case things get awkward.
