Is such a thing possible? it wasn't worth another email, but I thought I could join your pro-cheesecake march if so. If not, then I don't mind the topping, but could we just have the jam? I don't want any cheese, or the cake beneath! Just the jam, or just the chocolate.

Oh, if you've never experienced the joy of chocolate cheesecake...
you're certainly in for an experience when you do!
It's possible: you melt the chocolate and mix it in with the cheese and cream and eggs and stuff... I think these are better baked, since they set faster.
You're welcome to join the cheesecake league... we have no resistance, since Rama (head of the anti-cheesecake brigade) is in the Big Bandwagon house at the moment.
I'm planning to add a chocolate mint cheesecake recipe to the Craft Centre, but first I've got to make it... and eat it...
