Hi Batty... your writing about Jahanara Imam. im impressed but curious. What made u write about her?

I read her book. The diary that was published from during the war, when she lost her son Rumi and her husband, Sharif. When I went to plan a new entry (I do very few) I wanted a subject that hadn't already been discussed and decided to do one on her or on an Egyptian author, Naguib Mahfuouz.

I opted for Jahanara Imam because she was such an amazing woman.
