I have a dream.....to educate and enlighten students and young people living on their own for the first time on how to shop and cook cheaply and healthily, in short, to actually find satisfaction and enjoyment in
the whole process and impress friends and families with new found culinary skills.

I know we have already spoken about this article but I have now edited out the personal bits and extended the introduction. I was wonderin gwhere the best place would be to post pointers to it.

Hi smiley - smiley

I don't know if you saw this answer:
F14181?thread=587717&latest=1

Would you be prepared to run it as a series? Perhaps once a fortnight? If you click on the name I am using now you will be taken to the Post Office which gives you a better chance of catching me... I hardly ever have time to log on to my shazz account these days.

Let me know - from what I've seen it has the makings of a valuable series and we'd love to run something like this in <./>ThePost</.> smiley - spacesmiley - smiley

I would love to run it fortnightly , that'd be great. I can base it here instead of on my website and then just link it to here for anyone interested. Let me know how it goes with where you place it etc. and I will work out a timetable for writing and posting.

Great. smiley - ok

Let's aim to start it next week then. smiley - biggrin

Perhaps you would like to browse through the h2g2 graphics gallery to see if there is an appropriate graphic there to use for the header of each article and the archive. If nothing grabs your attention then let me know and perhaps I can siort something out.

What a lot of contributors do is use the same page each week (called a scratchpad) to create their item. I then come along and 'lift' it from the page, edit it (put in GuideML formatting), put in the current Post links and add it to the archive. You, of course, retain full credit as the author and the entry will appear on your page under 'Guide Entries'. You can then either link to each part of the series from your web page or link to the archive. smiley - smiley

If this would work for you then just let me know which page you are using and I can bookmark it. Then all you do each fortnight is post or email and say 'next one ready for collection' smiley - smiley

Hey,thanks. /The graphic is great! I'll add a couple of lines on the entry to say what recipes are going up first and what ingredients are needed. Going to have a chat with my offspring about what would be most popular, also in the household tips and shopping areas.

Cheers
