Well well well...I finally have a reason to post on Shazz' page
The computer has been repaired but still has to be sent back to the shop first. It turned out that the Motherboard, the Pentium-processor, the DVD-player and something else were all beyond repair. Apparently this was most likely caused by lightning! We wouldn't know, we weren't there.
Anyway, it should be back around this time next week. So Shazz should be able to get on ICQ again by that time. And I will be able to be online at home LOL!

It's a pc each or a PC for Shazz... LOL! No doubt about it. Of course I have online access at work so...
But it has been very frustrating lately : here I am, just configured a network at home and the second PC dies...

She sounds just like me. When BluesShark is off work and here most of the time he suffers from lack of pc use.
I did say if ever he wanted to move in he'd better bring his own pc.

Still no network connection between my compie and TM's... and still no working internet connection either 
It looks as if I will have to install Windows 2000 Pro just so our compies can talk to eachother, although I'm quite reluctant to take that step as a lot of my programs won't run under it.

As a Windows 2000 user (previously an NT user) I understand. I usually walk into a software store, look at a lot of cool games and such, look at the back of the box and walk back out of the store again.
