After spending the last 6 months arguing with St***ard L**e over my pension rights and fighting to get the correct amount due, I have, this morning, received yet another ing form with yet another amended total on it!
Do these people think I have nothing better to do than chase my tail around?!!!
I am absolutely ing mad, not least because that means another few weeks of trying to talk to the correct person in the correct office at the correct time! I think I must have spend half my annuity on ing telephone calls by now!!!
They send stuff through which is registered - which means it has to be signed for, which means someone has to be at home. Obviously, with being at college all day, this is tricky, especially as the Dutch delivery service refuse to specify remotely 'morning' or 'afternoon', let alone a more specific hour!
You can request that a neighbour signs for it - but they don't want to hang about indoors all day any more than you do!
So, to collect the stuff you have to be able to travel to somewhere like Den Haag during working hours - those same hours which you are supposed to be attending college.
So, it takes a couple of weeks from when they originally sent the package through to when you receive it. You fill it in immediately, return it with a specific request to phone (after a certain hour) if there is ANY problem at all. This, of course, is not written in correct English, because they ignore all this, wait the two weeks (during which time you feel confident that things are being sorted and the money will drop into your bank account at any moment), then send ANOTHER form with ANOTHER quotation from ANOTHER from the deficient gene pool sitting somewhere in the same department in the same building who obviously can't be bothered to read the ing correspondance from before!
Why do I bother? Because they are not treating me like this! I paid them the money in good faith. I followed all the correct procedures and it is THEY who are cocking it up at every turn!

Hi MO
No - infact in a much better mood now as I finally have confirmation that the 'vesting date' has been put back to last August when I originally applied.
You wouldn't think that this would make much difference, but S******d L*** have moved the goalposts twice since then which meant a very significant drop in their offer.
Mind you - I won't believe it's all sorted 'til I see the money sitting in my bank account!
