i'm from edinburgh, 44, divorced, happier than i've ever been in my life with the most wonderful woman on the planet. been together 7 years 1 month and 8 days, three kids between us aged 20, 19 and 16. i love music, especially springsteen, neil finn, warren zevon, peter gabriel, john mellencamp, cowboy junkies, bright eyes,keane, kaiser chiefs, u2, the who, the beatles, willie nile, although following the best advice i ever had, i'll read, watch or listen to anything before liking or not. i read a lot, favourites are douglas adams, terry pratchett, howard waldrop, james elroy, tim o'brien, george r r martin, stephen king as well as lots of non fiction. i like films, especially if de niro, pacino,tarantino or spielberg are involved. favourite films - lord of the rings trilogy / bad day at black rock, tv shows - x files, csi, stargate favourite actor - spencer tracy, favourite actress - sigourey weaver, favourite albums - born to run,the rising, the seeger sessions, peter gabriel 3 and 4, comfort in sound, abbey road, together alone, diesel and dust, mr happy go lucky, favourite book - dear me by peter ustinov, favourite comedians - buster keaton, groucho marx, spike milligan, dislikes - religous fundamentalism, blind obedience, soaps, reality tv
