KK, Robostandard (U7802645) on the Snorkies thread has "no posts registered to this person" or words to that effect. Comments?

Yes, and bashed you too, I noticed. Have comments but can you please unsubscribe from this and check h2g2 for updates? Or suggest an alternative (I can)?

I've looked, he still hasn't any messages to his name.
I don't know my way round this part of the world, you need to spell things out for me.

I think that if you read this message and click on the link to me it will take you to My Space ... read all of it, to the end

You may need to come out of hootoo and reload, then check the end of para 2 carefully and maybe there'll be something there ... let me know, won't you?

Aw noooooooooooooooooooo! You've gone to your My Space and not my My Space!!!
Change it back by using 'edit page' and paste the following text back in:
This is the Personal Space of Researcher 2337718. Unfortunately Researcher 2337718 doesn't seem to have found the time to write anything by way of an introduction yet, but hopefully that will soon change.
By the way, if you've become a member but haven't yet written an Introduction to your Personal Space, then this is what your Space looks like to visitors (and, in the same way that you can't leave a message here for this Researcher, others won't be able to leave messages for you on your Space). You can change this by clicking on the 'My Space' button, going to your Space, clicking on the 'Edit Page' button, and entering your own Introduction - it's highly recommended!

Taken a LONG time for that penny to drop. I must confess to being somewhat nervous (to say the least) about loosing the anonymity which these boards provide, no offence intended.

Then stay right as you are as you are ok where you are, no problem there at all.
It's unsettling when there is a joker in the pack, as I learnt to my cost a month ago. Now there seems to be another and I note what you said earlier. There are interesting things going on but I'm not sure how many actual posters are involved.
Hope this makes sense to you!

I understand what I think you said (?)
Difficult to identify naughty people, although early serial numbers from someone claiming to be a newcomer looks suspicious, as does clicking on the name of someone who's just posted and finding nothing registered to them.

Agree with both the examples you mention (generally and specifically) and there is only one other poster I am aware of who always clears down their posting history as soon as they post.
There's no good reason to do so that I can think of especially if you're new and in pre-mod (although in such a case it identifies an experienced user); either way, it's unsettling because it looks like there may be mischief afoot.
You can bet your sweet life that all these messages have been read, too, as the poster in question has been online since without increasing their posting tally on that particular thread.

Right, shall we call him then?
"Come on out with your hands up, we know you're in there. You can't escape, we've got the place surrounded."

Sure ... you go first though, I'll be right behind you (with a cattle prod!)
