h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi my name is Yoni I'm 18 years old and next month I am being conscripted to combat infantry brigade and from there I'm planning on commando units as I always wanted.I'v read the entire story you wrote on "Passing the SAS Selection Course - From the Inside" and I just would like to say that I have always wondered if I had what it takes to make it in the SAS but unfortunately I was born in Israel and so ever since I heard about how very few men make it pass the selection courses like the SAS selection I always figured hell why not give it a go.
Now that I'm 18 I realize that I wanted to make something of myself and the Israeli Defence Force is the perfect place to make it happend whilst I was still wondering about where to go in the IDF I always looked for role models that have served with the most famous units in the world so I could look upon them and say "one day,one day that will be me" as I read your story I remember thinking to myself that is the kind of life I would like to have as a 14 year old I remember seeing a documentary about the foreign legion and I thought to myself that with the expertise the IDF can provide me with I could travel the world from warzone to warzone and turn the tide and do some good that is why I always wanted to reach the heighest possible and toughest millitary unit in the IDF.
