Good luck with the expedition

Hi Nick,
Just to say good luck with your expedition - sounds amazing, and I'll be checking up on the Goldfinch pages to see your progress (you could also copy to your journal here, if you have time?).
I used to have a little Arab, and had a Freeform treeless saddle for him. Although it all went pear-shaped in the end, and I only got to sit in the saddle a couple of times, I was very impressed by the way it fitted him (as a short-backed, small, but broad and flat chap).
Lots of ,

Me too, Nick! Good luck with your expedition... any chance of posting a route and/or timetable? it would be cool to bump into you if you pass through any towns where h2g2 researchers live...

How sweet of you both! Wasn't expecting anything like that.
I don't think I can post to my 'journal' here. Technically, posting anything longer than a message is a real nightmare. The beauty of Goldfinch is that all I have to do is email the text to Helen and she does the rest.
As for an itinerary, .... um, I not sure what it is myself yet. West across Turkey is about the best I can do for now, then it's turn left at the Med. I don't even know where I'm going to cross the border into Turkey. The best place on horseback doesn't have a vet inspection point. The one that does is miles out of the way (adds about 10 days riding), so I'm fighting about it.
Also, I'm sorry I've taken so long to reply. I don't often check my 'personal space' and I've only just seen your messages. I will look more often from now on.
Anyway, thanks again!
Nick.
