Size Matters
As a person with an inordinate amount of time on my hands, doing the weekly shopping becomes a crusade against the supermarket giants. Take for example Tesco's own brand olive oil ... sold in quantities of 250ml, 500ml and 1ltr. Now, one would assume that the most expensive way to buy one litre of the aformentioned olive oil is to buy 4x250ml and the cheapest to buy the 1ltr bottle. Not at all ...the cheapest by some 60p is to buy 2x500ml bottles. WHY?Conversations
