The only thing I can think of is that you were prevented by our profanity filter 
that doesn't mean you were using swear words, a simple typo can 'trip' the profanity filter.
For intance, I was once prevented from posting due to putting to 'k's at the end of full instead of 2 'l's. 
If it is the profanity filter, the problem is, it doesn't tell you what word(s) it's objecting to, you have to figure that out yourself. 
Did you notice if you had red writing at the top of the text window, I can't remember what it says, if so, that's the profanity filter.
Try to edit your space again, and watch for typos that the profanity filter may pick up as swear words.
